LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL TEA FESTIVAL OFFERS YOU A PASSPORT TO THE WORLD OF TEA

"The world of tea is coming to the Japanese American National Museum the weekend of August 13th & 14th, 2011 when the Los Angeles International Tea Festival celebrates its debut in conjunction with the Museumʼs Summer Festival on the Courtyard", Devan Shah, owner of Chadoʼs Tea, announced today.

Tea lovers will discover new worlds of tea as they explore focused tastings of classic teas from diverse origins, meet authors and locally-based tea celebrities and drink oceans of extraordinary tea inside the Museum. Southern California tea companies will exhibit and featured guest James Norwood Pratt, internationally known author, historian and story-teller, will offer inspiring classes and sign copies of his books. Chef and author Robert Wemischner will be cooking with tea and sampling tea infused treats for the attendees all day Saturday.

The Tea Festival will be open 11:00 am - 5:00 pm daily Saturday August 13 and Sunday August 14, inside the Japanese American National Museum located at 369 East First Street in downtown Los Angeles. Admission is $15.00 per person. Tickets can be purchased online at www.teafestivalla.com, at any Chado Tea Room (www.chadotea.com), or at the door during the days of the Festival.
